In Which Irony Humps My Leg
Sep. 12th, 2004 06:18 amThose of you who had time on your hands recently will know about my trials and tribulations in trying to get my hands on the Korean/English/Japanese electronic dictionary of my dreams.
I had Korean class yesterday evening, as usual. Our sensei was a bit late, but when she did show up, she was bearing a box of the electronic dictionaries I'd been lusting after. She handed them out to all the students in the class who'd ordered them. And when, you might ask, did said students have a chance to order said dictionaries? Why, that would have been the week I missed class because I was in Korea, trying to buy said dictionary. How 'bout that.
That will be all.

on 2004-09-13 12:55 am (UTC)Korea was awesome! I'm so totally going back. (It doesn't hurt that going to Korea costs the same as going to Tokyo, either;-).)
And yeah, I so totally scoped your Korean, since it's about 1/15 of my vocabulary at this point. Rawk!
