I noticed a couple of suspicious files on my HD about a month and a half ago. I kept scanning them with every bit of virus software I could find, but they came up clean. Still, my computer was acting funny, my Internet was slow, and I could hear a program initializing whenever I ran my sound through my stereo speakers.

Well, TrendMicro finally caught on that said programs were viruses, about 90 days after I had. It's probably a good thing I didn't go deleting willy-nilly, but still, I wish I had.

Because apparently a bunch of people in Russia now have access to my yahoomail passwords, or would if said viruses were ever written with Opera in mind. Yahoo!

That will be all.

So it was a virus. I had a feeling it was, it didn't seem like it could be anything else. Did you figure out how they got there?

What were the file names?

If the russians want my yahoomail account password, good on 'em, they can get rid of all the spam for me. It's all I ever get in that account now.
