Meming Like a Lemming

morlom most recently, though a few of you guys have done it as well.
1) Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4.
Our book being the wonderful Yoshimoto Banana's "Kitchen", which I have read entirely too many times, the line is as follows:
きゃいけないんでしょう? もう。」
2) Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
The divider. Think second grade class with those little accordion things teachers could pull across to make the room 1/2 its usual size.
3) What is the last thing you watched on TV?
One Piece, about two weeks ago. I am proudly anti-TV.
4) WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is.
2:45.
5) Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
2:47. Though the actual time is 2:43. My computer clock says 4:49. Norton AntiVirus says it's time for an update. I say it's time for Norton AntiVirus to STFU.
6) With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Nothing. We're in a lull; the freight trains will start up again in another 13 minutes.
7) When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
About an hour ago. I was stumbling back from Groove.
8) Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
My fic.
9) What are you wearing?
My CK pajamas, which are ten sizes too big, literally. I put the pants on and they fall off of my hips without needing to be pulled, elastic waistband and all. Given as an Xmas gift with the TJ Maxx discount tags still attached, they were obviously not chosen with my physical attributes in mind.
10) Did you dream last night?
Nope. I barely slept last night.
11) When did you last laugh?
Talking about first week JET impressions with Shelley during Hanami.
12) What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Maps of Japan and Kyoto, an FFXII poster, two Miyazaki Hayao posters, pictures of UA & Kuma, promotional RoK fliers, drawings and letters from my students, letters from grandparents and friends, gifts from my handicapped students, a Balinese sarong, engrish, CD promotional flyers, concert posters, O-fuda from Kinkaku-ji, ukiyo-e, two DNAngel posters, a 2000 yen note, pictures from music magazines, a collage I made, the AC, and about 40 pictures of family and friends.
13) Seen anything weird lately?
Japanese fashion has become so normal as to no longer count as The Weird. I no longer even bat an eyelash. It's the passing of an era, really.
14) Last movie you saw?
Uh... Return of the King. In early December. See my comments re: television.
15) If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
Your worthless life. Bwahahahaha.
Seriously, though. What a lameass question.
16) Tell me something about you that I don't know.
I'm going to Singapore and Malaysia in 18 days.
17) If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics --
Matriarchy. Cause tonight we're gonna party like it's 1999. BCE.
18) Do you like to dance?
Yeah. Too bad the rest of the Oaks doesn't.
19) George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?
White, christian, rich, priveledged republican. You make the call.
20) Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
Something nicer than it'd be if it was a boy.
21) [Same question for a boy]
I take it you haven't heard of my Nefarious Plot? Too bad; it really is Nefarious.
22) Would you ever consider living abroad?
Of course not.
That will be all.
