akujunkanRecently, my fancy has been ensnared by the following:
直野ぼうら。 Author of the first manga I ever purchased Japan-side, I just love everything about her stuff - her art style, her storylines, her weirdness. Only she can make plotlines involving amputees, cannabalism(?), and おやじ not only sexy, but touching. I bought her most recent 単行本、「欲しがりな君と不つつかな僕」 last Friday, and loved it. It's got the most consistently cute storylines of any of her tanks, and a couple of them are serials, which is nice as well.
Puffy: The Very Best Of Puffy. So yeah, I bought all four of their CDs that I didn't already own this weekend as well, and have pretty much been listening to them nonstop since then. Fever Fever will remain my favorite CD overall, but the best of CD is nice, and includes the Beijing versions of two of their singles as well.
Drabbling. It's like writing fic without the work.
Tsutaya. Why purchase those CDs when you can rent them and pop 3 of them onto a minidisc? The fact that I've got about 20 coupons for half price rentals isn't hurting either.
