on 2003-09-03 07:52 am (UTC)firstly - CDs are in a standardized format that all OS's can interpret. Secondly, .jpg is also a standard format that pretty much any image viewer (including all internet browsers) Thirdly, Macs can read Windows-formatted Word Documents, but it doesn't go the other way around.

on 2003-09-03 07:43 pm (UTC)Basically, either the "author" or her friends, or both, created IDs solely for the purpose of raising the bids of honest bidders.
The final bid of $265 was also retracted as soon as it was placed - another clue that they were feeling out the bid prices of honest bidders.
Grr.
