one of the neighborhood cats. Japan doesn't really do housecats; most apartments are far too small for that. So the legions of outdoor "house"cats create legions and legions of outdoor feral or semi-feral cats. (You can generally tell the difference by specific animals' levels of socialisation and the presence or absence of a collar.)
Anyway, although I am a huge fan of cats, I am somewhat less of a fan of the loud cat sex (not to be confused, for those of you in the know, with the loud Catsex) that tends to go on the rooftops near my apartment. How the animals even manage to get onto the rooftops, which are at least two storeys off the ground, beats me.
That will be all.

on 2009-04-16 03:18 pm (UTC)Really? See that green thing in the background? Cats climb those with ease. *G*
I'm with you on the cat sex (and Catsex), for the neighbourhood cats seem to think beneath my bedroom window is the ideal meeting place, usually around 2am.
Sorry I wasn't on AIM tonight. I've been working around the house, and am currently taking a quick break before I finish up. With luck I'll catch you tomorrow.

on 2009-04-17 12:22 pm (UTC)Or Douglas Adams-style, on the wing of a plane? Y/Y?
My family has always been very good about spaying/neutering our housecats, and our cats have always been very good about being *house*cats, so this is the first time I've actually heard catsex. But the first time I heard it, I both knew immediately what it was and why people bitch about it so much.
