I haven't been able to log into my university email for going on a week now. The university email is already cocked up because:

1. You can't change your randomly generated username (think 2t719r81) to something memorable, like your name. Have fun giving that addy to a potential employer over the phone.
   
2. When logging in you must do so with your entire email address (271981tr@pc.ritsume.ed.jp). Have fun typing that in every single time.
   

So when repeatedly careful one-finger-typing attempts to log myself in failed, I gave up. Until today, when I had to go through yet another health check but couldn't remember when it was. (Predictably, this information was not supplied on the Current Students homepage).

So I asked a fellow student if she could log in, which is about the only way to get answers around here.

"Oh yeah," she said. "They changed the email addresses. Now you have to put in 'qx' instead of 'pc.'"

"When did they tell us about that?" I asked, even though I already knew the answer.

"Oh, they sent an email about it when they made the change."

Honestly, I'm kinda...like, how does *anything* get taken care of by this office? I mean, the uni's been around for over one hundred years, so surely they haven't all been this incompetent...

Carribean, just north of Brazil. Coast protects from most hurricanes and has average temp and humidity around 80. Unless you know a good Pacific island.

There are lots of good Pacific islands! Japan. Fiji. The Marianas. Micronesia. Hawaii.

Although an Atlantic fastness would be breaking the mold, which we definitely excel at doing^^
