Today's picture is of:

my modems. Yes, for some god unknown reason, there are two, both of which have really ginormous wall jacks.
This means that I can either: 1) connect to the Internet while my computer's plugged in, but not use my kotatsu or external hard drive; 2) connect to the Internet and use my kotatsu but not the external hard drive while running my computer off of batter power; 3) connect to the Internet and use my external hard drive (but not my kotatsu) while running my computer off of battery power; or 4) use my kotatsu and external hard drive with a plugged in computer, but have no Internet.
Joys.
That will be all.

on 2009-02-18 10:33 am (UTC)I watched Rachel first, mais naturellement. While I don't discount the cold medication factor, the guy was clearly under the influence of something that should have kept him from appearing publicly. (And really, if you're suffering from a massive cold/cold meds-induced bout of mental retardedness, have your people announce it ahead of time.)
That said, as someone who speaks Japanese, his diction was pretty clear, just really, really, (really, really) slowed down. Actually, he sounded like a lot of the old men I worked for in K-town who really should have retired long ago...

::shrug:: It's probably a good thing he's resigned, although he's likely to get a cushy amakudari (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amakudari) post anyway.
Just for you sweety!
