Aug. 5th, 2003 03:04 pmIs very good in this town. I know because I went out with all my supervisors for lunch today. They are very relaxed, chill people. I think that if I wasn't so anxious about the lack of phone and Internet, I'd be having a chill time with them.
My nose is healing well, although I still weep for the ring, and it's a bitch getting an 18 gauge in there every evening after work. But goddamit, if Madonna can keep her baby, I'm gonna keep my nose piercing.
If anyone Stateside (or hell, anyone in a Westernly-acculturated nation-state) can buy an 18 or 20 gauge clear retainer, please let me know!

I hope you're enjoying yourself over there. ;o)
Yup
on 2003-08-05 10:03 pm (UTC)Yeah, I'm having a pretty good time here - Japanese beer (rawk), Chuu-hi (carbonated, flavored vodka, also rawk), and a big summertime festival are the cool bits.
Once I get a phone, and thus the ability to enjoy the above with other people, it'll be even better...

Btw, I was wondering why it was you went over to Japan? I might've missed it when I had all those people visiting. I missed out on a lot when they were here. >:P
