More plantage

Hurrah for new acquisitions! bran420_7 and have been going nuts for a few weeks spotting this plant:



growing on the side of the highway. Today we stopped at an abandoned lot on the way to Chinese and got ourselves a specimen, which has since been identified as Butterfly Weed. It held up admirably well for being relegated to a plastic water bottle for about five hours, and has now been ensconsed in some potting soil in my garage, pending transplantation to my garden tomorrow.

Life is good.

Isn't it? It apparently grows all over the States, so you might try looking for some (if you have your own garden and indeed, live in the US^^).
