There's nothing like finding out...
Mar. 21st, 2007 03:01 am...that you've been hardcore punked by your local pharmacy.
I just spent close to 50 bucks for an office visit to my physician to see if I couldn't get switched to a different form of medication, as the one I'm on now is just too expensive.
He did a double take when I explained to him. Turns out that $240 prescription I've been getting filled at the mom and pop pharmacy is $12 at WalMart.
Yes, you read that correctly. A 228 dollar difference.
Screw this "supporting local businesses" crap. My dollar is going to Wallyworld from now on, and the mom and pop can go out of business yesterday for all I care. >.<
In other news, I'm down to 64 unread books in my bedroom bookcase collection. It was at 62, but some mooches came in this morning.
That will be all.

Are you thinking of going in to said store and in a loud voice explain why you're no longer going to be buying any medicines from them? The temptation would be immense.
