In which I finally post about voting.

So yay! I enfranchised myself yesterday. And I was one of the people who helped turn Indiana blue simply by getting off of my ass. Take that, Count Chocolla!
I really, really, really don't have time for people who can't be bothered to vote. I really don't. If you can dig up advance release dates for your favorite band's new CDs, if you can get on the Interments and find a torrent for your favorite obsure Thai movie, if you can keep track of freaking sports stats, you can locate information on candidates and voting records. Unless you can't be bothered.
In which case, I don't want to hear you bitching (or cheering) about politics.*
That will be all.
*Unless you write a lot of letters to your elected by other people reps.

I did too!
on 2006-11-11 02:58 am (UTC)Your papers and newspaper clips are somewhere in my room waiting to be sent to the address you gave me. I just need to clean and find them first.
How goes the job search? Frgive me if you've posted about this already. I haven't had much freetime online in ages and just remembered to check your journal. Only good things about PTA visiting Sunday school are that I get to sit on my ass and play online and then sleep in on Monday.
Take care.
