In which I grumble at flickr

akujunkanOkay, it really sucked when you decided the day after I signed up that I needed to have a yahoo ID in order to keep using your services. I don't want my pictures associated with my email address. But I was willing to overlook that because everyone I know who's abroad and taking intersting photographs uses your services.
Strike number two came when I realised you'd only let me view the most recent 200 pictures I'd uploaded to your servers. But I also want all of my friends to see all of my pictures. So I sucked it up and decided to shell out the ten bucks or whatever for a pro account.
Only to discover that a pro account actually costs $24.95, and locks out all but the most recent uploads if it expires. But never fear, for as the massively overwrought splash graphic informs me: You can get a 2 year account for just $47.99 and that's even less per month!
...Holy SHIT! You mean if I purchase your vastly overpriced services for two years, I can save a whole $1.91!?!?!?
