OH MY FUCKING GOD, NOOOOO! AMAZON JAPAN TRIED TO DELIVER THE NEW HARRY POTTER BOOK TO ME YESTERDAY. I COULD HAVE FINISHED IT BY TODAY. OH MY GOD NO, WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY? OH THE WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH!!

aw man, you are so (almost) lucky. some grocer accidentally sold the book to a kid in NY yesterday and the book company made the kid return it.

maybe i should have ordered from amazon jp. instead, i ordered from amazon uk...which will probably not ship it early...boo hoo. (i'm just happy that the amazon uk's book plus shipping cost less than the american one..ha ha)

For crying out loud. All this military-level secrecy about the book does not make me like or respect jkr that much.

That said, I had to order from amazon.jp. It was the only way I could get the book in this country without paying $40 for it. ::grumble grumble:: Still, I am getting the proper UK version.
