Taken from today's NYTimes: [Bush] mocked Vice President Al Gore for acknowledging marijuana use. "Baby boomers have got to grow up and say, yeah, I may have done drugs, but instead of admitting it, say to kids, don't do them," he said.

That's right, everyone! LYING IS COOL! AND IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! Because of course children need anything but the informed guidance of an experienced authority figure who they can trust. I cannot contain my disgust with this man. And yes, I am using this as a scapegoat for my utter abhorence of the 'Christian' compassion he displays to minorities, the poor, and especially women, because if I start, I won't stop for pages.

That will be fucking all.

Don't quite get this quote. Baby boomers have to grow up and admit they've done drugs / BUT / instead of admitting it...? The thoughts expressed in that quote seems to be mutually exlusive.

What bush seems to be saying is that one of the criteria of maturation is lying to others by failing to acknowledge that one has made mistakes.

Which is one more example of how bush is both singularly ntelligent and a complete and utter TOOL.
