Another one of those days. Already.
Head into work with my completed worksheet to find the jte believes it will be too hard for the student and thus offers no support during class. Listen, buddy, if the first thing you do is tell the students, 'This is waaay too hard for you,' then they aren't even going to bother trying. And they didn't.
If on the other hand, you give them a few examples and offer suggestions, then it is indeed something they're more than capable of, especially since it's a review worksheet, and I'm not introducing anything new.
To my other jte: you've had several copies of my schedule for well over a month. It isn't my fault you keep losing them. Please stop cancelling all my classes only to reschedule them on the same day, leaving me with 4 days of intense boredom followed by one hellish day of nonstop class. It isn't good for my nerves.
To the third jte: it isn't my fault you forgot to rent the video. It also is not my fault that I taught a Thanksgiving unit to the 2nd years last year, thus meaning that any Thanksgiving unit I teach the 3rd years will be a boring rehash because I already did it. You screwed up by forgetting to bring the video. Considering that this is the 2nd year I've taught here, it should be obvious that this year's 3rd years have already had my 2nd year classes, thus 2nd year classes can not be used as filler to cover your ass. Just saying.
To the good doctor: please call me.
To the makers of ikkyuu: please tone down the bumpou, okay? It's giving me headaches.
That would be all.
