akujunkanThere's something about the heat in Kuala Lumpor that makes you not want to eat anything. I haven't had a meal in two days and I don't feel hungry at all. This is why I managed to get extremely drunk: I've just personally polished off a bottle of whisky and about six bottles of beer all by my lonesome (though my compatriots have matched me on each).
Oh yeah, did I mention? Thanks to all the people killing each other in Thailand we decided to head south instead of visiting three countries on this trip. So now we're chilling in Malaysia's big city.

bloody_american will be happy to hear that I bought American Gods. Yes, I've read it, but I got the Brit version here. Also got some Discword books. Yeah, I own them in America, but it's cheaper to buy them here than to have my parents search for them in my stuff and send them.
Beer in this country costs about $1.00 a can. This is not necessarily a Good Thing.
So far, we've only been on boats/buses that have been stopped by the polis twice. Watch this space when I get back to Japan for details. Also, how the fuck did my parents discover that I was going to Malaysia? They're all worried because it's Muslim, as if every Muslim on the face of the planet wants to kill Americans. (Um, no?)
Went shopping in Chinatown tonight.hazardblue, it was all I dreamed of and more. I've got some great stories for when I get back and have the time to type them up!
