Holy Crap! Asia!

akujunkanIs really freakin' cool, although the people I'm with are kind of lame. Not in a horrible bad way, but in a They Start Drinking At Four PM And Do Nothing Else Until They Go To Bed At Two AM kinda way. Jeezus, you can drink in your own country. Let's go to a museum or something.
That said, coolness abounds. I've spent the last three days on a small island in Northern Malaysia (hint: they filmed South Pacific here), snorkeling off of coral reefs and hiking around in the jungles. Seen monkeys, monitor lizards, and flying squirrels on land, and more types of kickass tropical fish than you could shake a stick at on sea.
Have taken lots of pictures.
Wish I had my computer with me so I could do some writing during the five hour taxi rides I've had to take 3 times since coming to this country. I don't want to forget this stuff, and there have been some real whoppers of stories occurring. Much character has been built. Check in for more updates when I show back up in Nihon in a week or so.
