Mmm well, I can't remember if the program I used to make my ringtones is Mp3 Editor but I can tell you something that, in theory, applies to all editors. First be careful with the file you are using, some editors may replace or re-write the original file just check the settings. Second the program should be this easy: listen audio->mark your starting point->listen audio->mark your final point. I am looking at Google's results for Mp3 editor for free... I can't find the one I used for my ringtones; all the options are bigger than 10Mb mine was 3Mb ;_; I will see in my HD if I can find my mp3 editor, I hope this reply wasn't as useless as I think it was.
