akujunkanScene: It is 12:48 am. Ma soeur, mon pere, and moi are all sitting quietly in the living room, reading books.
Moi: What's your favorite MacGyver episode?
(internally) My favorite episodes were the ones with Deborah and Murdoch.
Ma soeur: Dude, I don't remember those.
(pause) I only remember the ones with Murdoch and Deborah going, "Am I a sight for sore eyes?"
Moi: Yeah, me too! I really liked the ones where someone was trying to kill him. And I wasn't rooting for MacGyver, either.
Ma soeur: Murdoch was awesome. He had a flamethrower.
Moi: Yeah, and before he tried to kill MacGyver with it, he had the windshield wipers on MacGyver's jeep come up with a message that said "Bye bye, time to fry." Murdoch was awesome.
Ma soeur: Oh my god! He did do that, didn't he! And wasn't there a mattress involved somehow?
Moi: Yeah, didn't he use it to keep Murdoch out of the cabin when Murdoch set fire to it?
Ma soeur: No, he used it to block the door.
Moi: Oh, that's right.
Ma soeur: And weren't there rocks involved?
Moi: Yeah, cause he was going to climb the Widowmaker.
Mon pere: My favorite Stargate episode was the one where someone hands O'Neill a paperclip and a Swiss Army knife, and he's like--
"What the hell am I supposed to do with this!?"
Moi: Yeah, that was episode one; it was awesome.
We then had a long discussion about Highlander: The Series, which I'm too tired to transcribe.

ETA: This transcription omits the line, "We still have to watch the He-Man Christmas Special," because I don't remember at which point ma soeur uttered it.
