It's happened before. I've seen and bought books for the kids about movies that haven't been released here, including one book for a movie that hadn't been released anywhere, iirc.
Which just makes me o.O, because for all the lengths they go to--making test audiences sign confidentiality clauses, bitching and moaning about heightened security around the theater discs, endless discussions of the latest hi-tech studio secrecy measures. And then what do they do? Spoil the world themselves with a kids book.
And I will write! I will! I'm putting the last touches on a translation tonight, and then I'm off.
