...Congressman Rangel has just moved to reinstate the draft. Brilliant move, and here's why:
He's a black democrat whose argument is, "Why should poor people of color be forced into the army for economic reasons." In other words, we've already got a socio-economic draft in place as it is.
Now, Rep. Rangel has alread moved to reinstate the draft once, three years before. But you can bet he'll have more of a voice now that the Dems are in power.
So it's a brilliant tactical move, but the not so charitable part of myself is kinda glad that women aren't allowed in combat zones.
