Kick ass

So I was chatting last night with olympe_grrrl when I got the best email ever.

Your truly passed the Foreign Service written exam!!! Within two years, I could be a diplomat. I am so freakin' happy it's unbelievable! Now, the only hitch is that I have to schedule the Oral Assessment (no snickering; get your minds out of the gutters!) but I'll be in Japan. So, hopefully I can speak to someone in a consulate over there and do the test on the Nippon-gawa.

In other news, I've made it to Chapter 10 of A Wizard's Song. bloody_american, if you want an IC Dumbledore, this is your fic.

Oh, and btw, we're supposed to think that it's Malfoy or the twins causing Harry's trouble, but it's so obviously Neville. Or at least, that's where my money's riding.

Anyway, can I say once again how happy I am about the Foreign Service? People go to Georgetown and chose majors with the intention of passing this test, and I stumble in off of the street and do it. Damn.

I haven't been this happy in a long time. Let's hope I pass the sinister Phase II of testing...
