Jesus Christ. I'm in the Lindley lab, having given up hope of ever being able to word process in Japanese on my own computer. Currently, I am trying to write an online article about the music scene in B-town. It's just like any online article in Japanese, except for the content, flow, and grammar.
Seriously, I wish they'd just give me some oversized 言語用紙 and let me write the thing out in crayon. I've been studying Japanese for over a quarter of my natural life; you'd think that my writing skills would resemble something that somewhat approaches readable Japanese.
You would think that.
On a silver lining note, it's fun switching back and forth between ひらがな and direct input in the LJ screen.
