fast food technology!

This vending machine features neither candy bars nor pop, but all of the food available at the restaurant. You insert your cash, press the "eat in" or "takeout" button at the top, then press the button for the food you'd like to eat (and the button for change, if you're owed any).

A little ticket pops out, which you take to the counter, where they've already assembled a tray with your drink and side dishes. When the food's ready, they bring it out to your table.

Cool stuff.

That will be all.

Awesome!

If only we had those here so you didn't have to stand in line with the white-trash in McDonald's.

If only we had Japanese fast food joints like Nakau or Mosburger, we wouldn't have to go to McDonalds at all!

Quite. If only we had local fisheries that were actually interested in seeing if fish here were good as sashimi or sushi. Saddly, we can only fillet, bread, and deep fry it here. *sniff*

Plus, a lot of that filleted, breaded, and deep fried fish is actually cod netted from illegal (and highly depleted) Barents Sea fisheries...

Oh sure, just bring up the unsustainable aspects of this country. Just because we're easy targets doesn't mean you have to take advantage, eh? :D

Would it make you feel any better if I started ranting about Japan's many high crimes and misdemeanors in the field of unsustainable fishing?

No. I can only handle the guilt of one irresponsible country.
