Hella-big LJ update

I wrote a really awesome lj post last night. I also wrote about 10 pages of fic. Guess when the power decided to go out.

Took the suckers 14 hours to get it back on.

Massive amounts of lightening. Blue lightening. Red lightening. It was the most beautiful storm I've ever witnessed.

Those who were with me in Nanzan will remember

Mandatory Time.

I just got to have some more Mandatory Time tonight, this time with, of all things, my own family.

My father is really, really, really into this television show called Lucky. I am really, really, really trying to get into Suikoden, so that I might finish it before I head back to Japan.

Well, Lucky was on tonight. It was the season finale. My father wanted me to watch it. I did not, because it was a) the season finale, and b) because I'm trying to learn how to play console games.

So I politely declined the chance to watch. And my father got SHITTY.

So I went and watched the damn show.

Now he's shitty because I didn't enjoy it.

I might have enjoyed it more had it not been Mandatory Time.
