While still trying to recover from the kick to the gut of this morning, my supervisor handed me a translation assignment.

Three sentences, thanking the Dutch office for translating a number of newspaper articles, which were to have been my entire translation workload for the past 2 1/2 months, into Japanese for me.

Seriously, does someone think this shit is funny? What the hell is wrong with these people?

That is the dumbest-fuck thing ever!!! So these people work with the equivalent of DMV job intelligence? 'Cause I totally don't get the zombie-brain mechanisms that are at work here.
