I agree completely and wholeheartedly. When I was watching the news I kept flipping from channel to channel (even to *gasp* FOX) and all of them were saying the same thing. My dad was listening to the news this morning and they were talking about some person and basically they were blaming him for it! Now they want a scapegoat. It's really, really appalling. I think unless the guy was standing there when he shot the first two and the shooter said to him "I'm going to go shoot some more" before running off to do just that no one could have known what would happen.

There was a lady on (I think) CNN who said that this kind of situation has never occurred before. The fact that the guy came back to kill even more people was not something that anyone had seen before (in any form of law enforcement) so that it had been probable that the guy wasn't going to come back.

I'm pretty sure they had thought it was an isolated incident. Who would have thought he'd come back for more?
